Rockets will be used in the Industrial Design & Construction course to expose the students to design and construction techniques and provide a basic understanding of the parameters that make a rocket work. Students will design and construct Custom Rockets "Skybird" solid fuel rockets and/or bottle rockets (2 liter soda bottle using water and air pressure for power). After completion the rockets will be test fired. The Safety Code of the National Association of Rocketry will be strictly adhered to for all aspects of these projects.
