Towers will be used in the Industrial Design & Construction course to expose the students to design and construction techniques and provide a basic understanding of statics and material properties. The towers pictured below were designed and constructed by the students in the Industrial Design & Construction course from a supplied handout and focus on design and construction techniques.

Paper Towers
Paper Towers will be constructed from 1 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper (See rules below). The objective is to build for maximum height. This years maximum was 76 1/4 inches by B. Vass (see results below).
