The Easy Flier is designed to teach students the basics of flight, functions of control surfaces and basic construction methods and can be configured as a glider or powered plane. A handout will be provided to all students. CAD students will redesign/redraw the plane in Autocad. ID&C students can choose to build it directly from the handout or redesign/redraw it on graph paper or in Autocad if capable.Students will then construct it on their plans. Planes will be flown and trimmed out. Once trimmed they'll compete to achieve the longest flight time.
